Taylor Hall scored his 18th and 19th goals of the season and Troy Passingham made 19 saves for his league-leading 13th win as the Windsor Spitfires defeated the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds 4-1 in Ontario Hockey League action Thursday.

Scott Timmins and Adam Henrique also scored for Windsor (14-3-3) while Hall, the OHL's scoring leader, also had an assist.

Defenceman Ryan Ellis, the first round pick of the Nashville Predators last summer, returned to the Spitfires' lineup after missing 10 games with a wrist injury and chipped in with an assist.

In other OHL action it was: Niagara 3 Mississagua 2 (OT); Saginaw 4 Sarnia 1; and Kitchener 6 Peterborough 4.

At Windsor, Ont., Michael Quesnele, with his third of the season, had the lone goal for the Greyhounds on a second period power play.

Bryce O'Hagan made 41 saves in a losing effort for Sault Ste. Marie (10-8-1), which has now dropped 11 straight games to Windsor dating back to December 29, 2007.

At St. Catharines, Ont., Alex Friesen scored in overtime and Mark Visentin made 46 saves as Niagara beat Mississauga.

At Sarina, Ont., Jordan Skellett scored the winning goal as Saginaw downed the Sting.

At Peterborough,Ont., Jeremy Morin scored twice as Kitchener beat the Petes.
