Therrien's two goals propel Chicoutimi to 5-2 win over Rimouski @NHLdotcom

CHICOUTIMI, Que. - Defenceman Nicolas Therrien scored twice to lead the Chicoutimi Sagueneens to a 5-2 win over the Rimouski Oceanic in Wednesday's lone Quebec Major Junior Hockey League game.

Therrien's unassisted goal at 17:37 of the first period led the Sagueneens to a 3-1 advantage through 20 minutes. His second of the game extended the lead at 13:36 of the second period. Antoine Roussel, Joel Champagne and Jacob Legace, into an empty net, added singles for Chicoutimi (6-10-1-1), which won its second straight.

Philippe Cornet and Olivier Fortier answered for the Oceanic (10-6-0-0).

Francois Levesque stopped 25 shots to pick up the win for the Sagueneens.

Rimouski netminder Maxim Gougeon made 19 saves in defeat.
