Szwarz and Skellett lead Saginaw to dominating 5-3 win over Sudbury @NHLdotcom

SAGINAW, Mich. - Jordan Szwarz scored twice and Jordan Skellett had a goal and two assists as the Saginaw Spirit defeated the Sudbury Wolves 5-3 on Friday night in the Ontario Hockey League.

The Spirit outshot Sudbury 49-21 in a game that was more one sided then the score indicated.

Josh Shalla and Joe Pleckaitis also scored for Saginaw (5-2-1-0) while T. J. Brodie had two assists and leading rookie scorer Ivan Telegin ran his current point streak to seven games with an assist.

Eric O'Dell continued his hot streak with two goals and Jarred Staal scored once for the Wolves (3-4-0-1).

Andrew Loverock stopped 44 shots to keep Sudbury in the game. Edward Pasquale needed only 18 saves to earn the win.
