Swift and Moir named CHL's player and goaltender of the week @NHLdotcom

TORONTO - Forward Michael Swift of the Niagara IceDogs and Ryan Mior of the Gatineau Olympiques were named the Canadian Hockey League's player and goaltender of the week Thursday.

Swift scored six goals with three assists in three games, including a three-goal, two-assist effort in an 8-2 win over Kingston.

Moir posted a 2-0 record with a 0.50 goals-against average and .981 save percentage in two games.

His 21-save performance in a 3-0 win over Quebec helped him tie the team record of five shutouts in a season set by Jose Theodore in 1995-96 season and set a new team record with 14 career shutouts.
