Strueby, Eberle and Weal lead Regina Pats to 6-1 win over Edmonton Oil Kings @NHLdotcom

EDMONTON - Matt Strueby, Jordan Eberle and Jordan Weal all had three point nights as the Regina Pats defeated the Edmonton Oil Kings 6-1 in the Western Hockey League Saturday night.

Strueby's pair of goals gives him 31 on the campaign. Kyle Mulder, Brett Leffler, Eberle and Weal scored singles for the Pats (25-28-7).

Garry Nunn scored the only goal for the Oil Kings (12-36-12) but nearly had two after ringing the puck off the blocker-side post six minutes into the first period.

Weal's goal and two assists gave him 151 career points and extended his point streak to five games. Eberle's goal was his 40th of the season.

St. Croix's assist on Nunn's goal gave the Oil Kings first line, which includes T.J Foster, 29 points in seven games. St. Croix now has 10 points in his last seven.

Torrie Jung and Cam Lanigan combined to stop 29 shots for Edmonton. Dawson Guhle turned aside 20 shots for Regina.
