Stars place Burish on IR @NHLdotcom
The Dallas Stars have placed forward Adam Burish on injured reserve with facial injuries suffered in a fight with the Bruins' Andrew Ference in Thursday's game.

Burish and Ference squared off in the fourth and final fight of a penalty-laden first period. The game featured three fights in the first four seconds of the game.

In his first season with the Stars after signing with the team as a free agent this summer, Burish has set career-highs of 7 goals and 11 points in 52 games.

There was another incident later in the game when Stars forward Raymond Sawada was knocked out of the game in the second period on a hit to the head by the Bruins' Daniel Paille. Paille was suspended four games by the NHL on Friday for the hit.

The Stars have recalled forward Francis Wathier from the AHL Texas Stars to take Burish's roster spot. The 26-year-old went scoreless in one NHL game earlier this season. In 44 AHL games, he has 13 goals and 24 points, and played in the AHL All-Star Game on Monday.
