Skinner scores twice as Rangers hold off Knights and win 6-4

KITCHENER, Ont. - The Kitchener Rangers survived a third period surge to beat the London Knights 6-4 in Ontario Hockey League action Friday night.

Jeff Skinner scored twice including a power-play empty-net goal to lead Kitchener (15-3-3), while Michael Catenacci, Tyler Randell, Chris MacKinnon, and Andrew Crescenzi had markers as well.

Justin Taylor had two goals for London (13-6-1), while Jared Knight and Steven Tarasuk also scored.

Taylor and Tarasuk both scored in the last two minutes of play while the Knights were shorthanded.
