Siwak has eventual winner as Red Deer Rebels down Prince George 3-1 @NHLdotcom

RED DEER, Alta. - Daulton Siwak's second goal of the season was the eventual winner as the Red Deer Rebels downed the Prince George Cougars 3-1 in Western Hockey League action Friday night.

Andrej Kudrna and Brett Ferguson also scored for Red Deer (35-22-4), with all three goals coming in the second period.

Darcy Kuemper made 23 saves for the Rebels, who moved into a fifth-place tie with the idle Medicine Hat Tigers in the Eastern Conference.

Alex Rodger notched a power-play goal for Prince George (11-45-3). Cougars netminder Kyle Jahraus blocked 31 shots, including 18 in the first period.
