Shane Owen stops 47 shots in Erie's 5-3 victory over Barrie @NHLdotcom

BARRIE, Ont. - Shane Owen made 47 saves to lead the Erie Otters to 5-3 victory over the Barrie Colts on Thursday in the OHL.

Jordan Skellett scored a goal and an assist, while Paul Cianfrini, Luke Gazdic, Justin Hodgman and Ryan O'Reilly, into an empty-net, each had a goal for the Otters, who are in the basement of the Midwest Division at 11-35-2-1. Alex Hutchings, Andrew Clouthier and Brian Lashoff tallied for the Colts (21-23-3-3).

Barrie's Peter Di Salvo made 23 saves in the loss.
