Sea Dogs advance to QMJHL semifinals with victory over Titan @NHLdotcom

BATHURST, N.B. - Payton Liske scored 2:16 into overtime and the Saint John Sea Dogs advanced to the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League semifinals with a 5-4 win over the Acadie-Bathurst Titan on Sunday.

The Sea Dogs won the second-round series with the Titan 4-2.

With their season on the line, Drew Paris scored at 8:26 of the third period to give the Titan a 4-3 lead. But Christopher DiDomenico sent the game to overtime with a goal with 3:42 left in regulation.

Ryan Sparling, David Stich and Francois Gauthier also scored for Saint John, which will play the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies in the next round.

Tomy Joly, with two, and Tomas Svoboda had Acadie-Bathurst's other goals.

Travis Fullerton made 40 saves for the Sea Dogs, while Nicolas Champion stopped 33 shots for the Titan.
