SEATTLE - Greg Scott scored on a penalty shot and added a short-handed goal Tuesday to help the Seattle Thunderbirds beat the Edmonton Oil Kings 8-2.
Jim O'Brien also scored twice and Prab Rai had a goal and two assists for Seattle. Devon LeBlanc, Jonathan Parker and Sena Acolotse also scored. Clayton Cumiskey and T.J. Foster had goals for Edmonton.
Calvin Pickard made 25 saves for Seattle, while starter Torrie Jung made 25 saves on 30 shots for Edmonton. Dalyn Flette made five saves on eight shots in relief.
The Thunderbirds, who are moving to the nearby city of Kent in January, improved to 3-1-0-0 at home and 5-10-1-1 overall.
The loss dropped Edmonton to 8-11-1-1.
