Schumacher scores twice as the Greyhounds edge the Sting 4-3

SARNIA, Ont. - Michael Schumacher scored twice as the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds came from behind to beat the Sarnia Sting 4-3 on Friday night in Ontario Hockey League action.

Andrew Fritsch and Nick Cousins scored goals just 30 second apart early in the third period for the Greyhounds (2-1-0) to erase a 3-1 deficit.

Schumacher completed the comeback for Sault Ste. Marie by scoring the winner with just 1:37 remaining in regulation.

The Sting (0-2-1) led 1-0 after the first period on a goal by Craig Duininck. Anthony DeAngelo and Alex Galchenyuk gave Sarnia a two-goal lead after 40 minutes of play.

Matt Murray made 39 saves to earn the victory as JP Anderson stopped 43-of-47 shots in a losing effort.

Sault Ste. Marie finished the game 0 for 3 on the power play while Sarnia scored once on four chances with the man advantage.
