Schultz helps Hitmen even series with Brandon after 3-2 overtime win @NHLdotcom

CALGARY - Ian Schultz scored on a two-man advantage 2:23 into overtime as the Calgary Hitmen edged the Brandon Wheat Kings 3-2 in Game 2 of the Western Hockey League Eastern Conference final Saturday night.

Tyler Fiddler and Misha Fisenko also scored for the Hitmen, who tied the series at 1-1 with Games 3 and 4 slated for Tuesday and Wednesday in Brandon, Man.

Paul Ciarelli and Travis Hamonic scored in the second period for the Wheat Kings, who trailed 2-0 after the opening period.

Calgary goalie Martin Jones made 24 saves to record his ninth win of the post-season, while Brandon netminder Jacob DeSerres stopped 28 shots.
