Schmitz scores twice as Plymouth Whalers swat Sarnia Sting 5-2 @NHLdotcom

PLYMOUTH, Mich. - Beau Schmitz had back-to-back goals, including the winner, as the Plymouth Whalers sank the Sarnia Sting 5-2 in Ontario Hockey League play Saturday night.

AJ Jenks scored and added two assists for Plymouth (35-22-2), while Tyler Seguin and Leo Jenner also found the back of the net. Goaltender Scott Wedgewood earned the win with 38 saves.

Brandon Francisco and Tyler Peters supplied the offence for Sarnia (16-39-4), while Shayne Campbell stopped 28 shots.
