Schenn and Glennie score in shootout as Brandon beats Moose Jaw 7-6

BRANDON, Man. - The Brandon Wheat Kings blew a three-goal lead in the third period, then bounced back for a 7-6 shootout win over the Moose Jaw Warriors in the Western Hockey League on Friday night.

Brayden Schenn and Scott Glennie scored in the shootout for the Wheat Kings, while Warriors shooters Quinton Howden and Brendan Rowinski were both stopped.

Matt Calvert scored two goals in regulation for Brandon (29-15-3). Brent Raedeke, Brodie Melnychuk, Mark Schneider and Toni Rajala also scored for the Wheat Kings.

Jason Bast scored twice for Moose Jaw (23-15-5), with Chad Suer, Spencer Edwards, Dylan Hood and Danny Gayle adding singles.

Moose Jaw netminder Jeff Bosch made 38 saves, while Jacob De Serres stopped 19 shots for Brandon.
