Scheifele leads the Colts over the Storm with two goals and two assists.

GUELPH, Ont. - Mark Scheifele scored two goals and set up two others as the Barrie Colts defeated the Guelph Storm 8-5 on Friday in Ontario Hockey League action.

The Colts (17-10-3) had multiple players register multi-point games as Tanner Pearson scored twice and added an assist, Ivan Telegin scored once and assisted on three others, Steven Beyers had a goal and two assists and Daniel Erlich scored once and set up two more.

Erick Locke also chipped in a single goal to round out Barrie's scoring.

Matt Finn led Guelph (13-12-4) with a goal and two assists. Scott Kosmachuk and Tanner Richard had a goal and an assist each for while Cody McNaughton and Andrey Pedan added singles.

Clint Windsor made 33 saves for the win as Garret Sparks allowed three goals on 17 shots before being replaced by Brandon Foote, who stopped 14 shots in relief.

The Colts went 2-for-5 on the power play while the Storm were 2-for-8.
