Chilliwack Bruins forward Mark Santorelli has been named the Western Hockey League player of the week.
Santorelli picked up nine points (7-2) in three games, all wins for the Bruins.
The 19-year-old from Burnaby, B.C., was named his team's first star in all three wins.
Meanwhile, Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds goalie Kyle Gajewski won the Ontario Hockey League's player of the week award.
He posted a 3-0-0 record with a 1.30 goals-against average and a .952 save percentage in three starts. The 20-year-old London, Ont., native is second among OHL goalies with a 2.22 GAA to go along with his 19-5-1 record and .921 save percentage.
In the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, Val-d'Or Foreurs forward Brad Marchand took offensive player of the week honours while Rouyn-Noranda Huskies defenceman Marc-Andre Bourdon won the defensive award.
Marchand had three goals and seven assists in three games. All three goals were scored in an 8-6 win over the Rimouski Oceanic on Sunday.
Bourdon had one goal and five assists while maintaining a plus-4 rating in two games.
