Sabres' Foligno eager to test shoulder

by Staff

Buffalo Sabres forward Marcus Foligno was hampered for most of last season by a shoulder injury. He's hoping offseason surgery and a summer of rehab will put him at full strength for the 2014-15 season.

Foligno told the Sabres website he's eager to test the shoulder in game action.

"I'd like to say I'm stronger than I was before, but you can only really know that until you get into a game situation," he said. "It feels good to get some bumps out there and starting working with the guys and get physical again."
