BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) -Sabres center Paul Gaustad is out indefinitely with an upper body injury.
Coach Lindy Ruff made the announcement Friday prior to the Sabres' game against Montreal, saying that Gaustad will likely miss a few weeks.
Gaustad was hurt during a 5-0 win against Toronto on Wednesday. The versatile forward has 16 points (six goals, 10 assists) in 38 games this season.
Sabres center Jochen Hecht is scheduled to return to the lineup against Montreal after missing two games with an upper body injury.
