It appears Larry Robinson will remain with the San Jose Sharks organization for at least three more seasons.
The Montreal Gazette reported Wednesday that Robinson has signed a three-year contract to remain as the Sharks' associate coach. He will have director of player development added to his title. Robinson will not travel as much with the Sharks next season, according to the newspaper.
Robinson, who turns 63 on June 2, joined the Sharks in 2012. The Hall of Fame defenseman coached the New Jersey Devils to a Stanley Cup championship in 1999-2000.
