Riendeau of Rouyn-Noranda Huskies named CHL player of the week @NHLdotcom

TORONTO - Forward Yannick Riendeau of the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies was named Canadian Hockey League player of the week Thursday.

He had three goals and five assists for eight points in two playoff games last week. Riendeau scored two game-winning goals to help the Huskies sweep the Saint John Sea Dogs in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League's Telus Division final.

Mike Duco of the Kitchener Rangers was the Ontario Hockey League nominee and Carter Bancks of the Lethbridge Hurricanes was the Western Hockey League nominee.
