QMJHL Roundup: Grigorenko with three points in first game with Remparts @NHLdotcom

QUEBEC CITY, Que. - Mikhail Grigorenko scored the winner and added two assists as the Quebec Remparts downed the visiting Rouyn-Noranda Huskies 5-3 on Saturday in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action.

Grigorenko was playing in his first game with the Remparts since being sent back to junior by the Buffalo Sabres on Jan. 11.

Cody Donaghey, Anthony Duclair, Adam Erne and Zachery Moody also scored for Quebec (26-12-8), which earned its third straight victory, while Francois Brassard turned aside 34 shots.

Jean-Sebastien Dea, Mathieu Lemay and Liam O'Brien scored for the Huskies (26-14-5) and Guillaume Decelles stopped 19-of-23 shots in a losing cause.



BAIE-COMEAU, Que. ?Valentin Zykov had two goals and two assists as the Baie-Comeau Drakkar downed the visiting Shawinigan Cataractes 5-2.

Charles Hudon scored once and set up two more for the Drakkar (30-12-4), who extended their win streak to five games, while Jeremy Gregoire and Maxime St-Cyr each scored once.

Kris Hodge scored both goals for the Cataractes (11-28-7), who are last in league standings.

Simon Lemieux made 24 saves for Baie-Comeau as Shawinigan's Marvin Cupper turned aside 23-of-27 shots in defeat.



CHICOUTIMI, Que. ??? Janne Puhakka scored once in regulation and then the shootout winner as the Sagueneens edged Gatineau.

William Gignac and Frederic Allard also scored for Chicoutimi (24-22-1), which has won back-to-back contests.

Vaclav Karabacek, Simon Tardif-Richard and Vincent Dunn supplied the scoring for the Olympiques (28-16-2) and Alexandre Chenier-Allard tacked on two assists.

Julio Billia made 30 saves for the Sagueneens while Gatineau's Anthony Brodeur kicked out 24-of-27 shots in a losing cause.



RIMOUSKI, Que. ??? Brent Andrews and Philippe Gadoury eachs cored twice as Halifax crushed the Oceanic.

Nikolaj Ehlers had a goal and two assists for Halifax (29-16-1), who have won three games in a row, and Jonathan Drouin had four assists. Andrew Ryan, Darcy Ashley and MacKenzie Weegar had a goal apiece to round out the Moosehead offence.

Jimmy Oligny scored the lone goal for Rimouski (27-13-7).

Zachary Fucale made 23 saves for Halifax. Philippe Desrosiers gave up six goals on 32 shots before giving way to Olivier Tremblay, who stopped 5-of-7 shots in 15 minutes of relief for the Oceanic.



SHERBROOKE, Que. ??? Pierre-Maxime Poudrier had a pair of second-period goals as Val-d'Or handed Sherbrooke its fourth straight loss.

Guillaume Gelinas and Anthony Mantha each had a goal and two assists for the Foreurs (27-16-2) while Nicolas Aube-Kubel, Shawn Ouellette-St-Amant and Louick Marcotte added the others.

Jean-Christophe Laflamme, Kevin Domingue and Tim Wieser scored for the Phoenix (14-27-6).

Keven Bouchard made 22 saves for Val-d'Or as Sherbrooke's Maxime Lagace allowed all seven goals on 29 shots.



SAINT JOHN, N.B. ??? Samuel Dove-McFalls scored twice in less than four minutes in the second period as the Sea Dogs slipped past Drummondville for their third win in four outings.

Matthew Highmore and Noah Zilbert also scored for Saint John (14-27-4) while Mathieu Joseph and Spencer Smallman chipped in with two assists apiece.

Charles-David Beaudoin had two goals and an assist for the Voltigeurs (28-16-2), Jerome Verrier scored once and Matthew Boudens assisted on all three of his club's goals.

Sebastien Auger made 32 saves for the Sea Dogs. Joe Fleschler played the first two periods for Drummondville and allowed three goals on nine shots. Louis-Philip Guindon came in for the third and picked up the loss, stopping 10-of-11 shots.
