BAIE-COMEAU, Que. - It was a memorable night for Drummondville Voltiguers defenceman Charles-David Beaudoin.

The 17-year-old scored two goals, including the game winner, as his Voltiguers defeated the Baie-Comeau Drakkar 4-2 on Thursday in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action.

The two goals mark the first time in his young career that he has recorded a multi-goal game.

Olivier Archambault and Tommy Giroux scored the other goals for Drummondville (15-19-5).

Raphael Bussieres had a goal and an assist for the Drakkar (19-16-3) while Jonathan Lessard added a single goal.

Domenic Graham made 44 saves for the win while Baie-Comeau's Jimmy Appleby stopped 23 shots in defeat.

The Voltiguers failed to score on five power-play chances as Baie-Comeau went 1-for-3.

Bussieres scored 11:22 into the first period to open the scoring and give the Drakkar a 1-0 lead.

The game stayed that way until Beaudoin tied it at 5:42 of the second period.

Giroux gave the Voltiguers the lead just over a minute later and before the period was through, Beaudoin scored his second of the game to make it 3-1 Drummondville heading into the final period.
