The Victoriaville Tigres' four-game winning streak came to an end, but the point they picked up in a shootout loss has them sitting atop the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League standings.
Guillaume Gauthier and Alex Belzile both scored in the shootout to lift the Rimouski Oceanic over the Tigres 3-2 Sunday afternoon.
Belzile and Jakub Culek each scored in regulation time for the Oceanic (11-8-0).
Philippe Halley and Simon Darveau scored for the Tigres (14-6-1).
Carl Hozjan made 37 saves for the victory while David Honzik turned aside 21 shots for the loss.
The shootout loss was enough to put Victoriaville a point ahead of Saint John in the standings.

Halley's 14th goal of the season came on the power play at 7:50 and tied the game at one.
Before the second period was finished, Culek scored at 9:49 to make it 2-1 Oceanic after 40 minutes.
Darveau scored at 6:49 of the third period to tie the game at two and force overtime.
