QMJHL Roundup: A look at Friday's games @NHLdotcom

The No. 1 pick in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League draft continues to make an impact in his rookie season.

Nathan MacKinnon was the first star in the Halifax Mooseheads' 5-4 overtime victory over the Acadie-Bathurst Titan on Friday after assisting on Matthew Boudreau's game-winning goal.

The Cole Harbour, N.S., native finished the night with a goal and three assists.

Elsewhere in the QMJHL it was: Cape Breton 8, Saint John 5; Drummondville 5, Rouyn-Noranda 2; Chicoutimi 4, Quebec 3 (OT); Victoriaville 5, Baie-Comeau 3; Blainville-Boisbriand 7, Gatineau 0; and Val-d'Or 4 Rimouski 2.

At Halifax, Luca Ciampini scored twice and added two assists for the Mooseheads (2-1-0), while Darcy Ashley had a goal and two assists.

Christophe Losier led Acadie-Bathurst (3-0-1) with two goals and an assist. Adam Stevens and Sean Girard also scored for the Titan.

At Sydney, N.S., Dany Potvin had a hat trick as Cape Breton (2-1-0) downed Saint John (0-3-0).


Voltigeurs 5, Huskies 2

At Drummondville, Que., Marc-Olivier Brouillard scored three times as the Voltigeurs (1-2-0) beat Rouyn-Noranda (1-2-0).


Sagueneens 4, Remparts 3 (OT)

At Quebec City, Charles Hudon scored 1:32 into overtime as Chicoutimi (2-1-0) edged the Remparts (0-2-1).


Tigres 5, Drakkar 3

At Victoriaville, Que., Frederic Tanguay struck twice as the Tigres (3-0-0) sunk Baie-Comeau (2-1-0).


Armada 7, Olympiques 0

At Boisbriand, Que., William Racicot and Etienne Marcoux both made 13 saves as the Armada (3-0-0) routed Gatineau (2-2-0).


Foreurs 4, Oceanic 2

At Val-d'Or, Que., Mathieu Guertin had a pair of goals, including one into an empty net, as the Foreurs (1-2-0) skated past Rimouski (1-3-0).
