QMJHL: Baie-Comeau Drakkar make two deals on opening day of trade period @NHL

BOUCHERVILLE, Que. - The Baie-Comeau Drakkar were busy on the opening day of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League's trade period.

The Cape Breton Screaming Eagles obtained defenceman Mikael Langlois from Baie-Comeau on Monday for a seventh-round pick in 2012. The Drakkar then dealt right-winger Alexandre Durette and a first-round pick in 2012 to the Val-d'Or Foreurs for centre Jean-Francois Leblanc.

In other moves, the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada traded defenceman Jonathan Narbonne to the Shawinigan Cataractes for first- and third-round picks in 2012.

Meanwhile, the Acadie-Bathurst Titan dealt their fourth-round pick in 2013 to the Drummondville Voltigeurs for their fifth-round pick in 2013.
