Notes: The Anaheim Ducks, who have the second-best record in the Western Conference at 19-3-3 (41 points), have won four straight, including a 2-1 win at the Minnesota Wild on Tuesday. Anaheim is averaging 3.3 goals per game, the most in the West. The Ducks also sport a plus-24 goal differential, which is second-best in the West, behind only the conference-leading Chicago Blackhawks, who are plus-27. Anaheim also boasts the League's most potent power-play unit, a group converting 26.7 percent of the time.

Notes: The Dallas Stars began a four-game homestand in disappointing fashion Tuesday by being shut out 4-0 by the Nashville Predators. Dallas had not been shut out in 16 games, since a 2-0 road loss to the Phoenix Coyotes on Feb. 2. The Stars have beaten the Anaheim Ducks already this season, besting their Pacific Division rivals 3-1 at American Airlines Center on Feb. 8. Dallas is 6-0-1 in its last seven games against the Ducks and hasn't lost to Anaheim in regulation since Oct. 26, 2010 -- a game the Ducks won 5-2 thanks to a pair of goals from Bobby Ryan.
