Preseason action on the NHL Network @NHLdotcom
As opening night of the 2009-10 season grows closer, the NHL Network is getting fans warmed up with a full slate of preseason action.

On Wednesday, the Toronto Maple Leafs, led by impressive rookie hopeful Nazem Kadri, will visit the Buffalo Sabres (7 p.m. ET)

Thursday's game features the Edmonton Oilers facing the new-look Tampa Bay Lightning (8:30 p.m.) in a game at the MTS Centre in Winnipeg.

Friday's game features a clash between Northeast Division rivals as the Boston Bruins visit the Ottawa Senators (7 p.m.)

Saturday night will see a Northwest Division battle between the Vancouver Canucks and Calgary Flames (9 p.m.)

And on Sunday there will be a rematch of the last two Stanley Cup Finals, when the Pittsburgh Penguins visit the Detroit Red Wings (5 p.m.).

NHL On The Fly also makes a special three-night return, starting Sept. 28 at 10 p.m. ET with an Eastern Conference preview. At 10 p.m. on Sept. 29, On The Fly previews the Western Conference, and at 10 p.m. on Sept. 30, On The Fly asks, "Is This The Year?"

NHL On The Fly starts its regular-season coverage on Oct. 1 at 8 p.m.
