Predators beat Panthers 5-3 in first game of pre-season doubleheader @NHLdotcom

SUNRISE, Fla. - Jani Lujunen's goal with 3:11 left broke a tie and lifted the Nashville Predators over the Florida Panthers 5-3 in the first game of an NHL pre-season doubleheader.

With totally different rosters, the teams were playing again later Monday night.

Kyle Wilson, Colin Wilson, Chris Mueller and Jonathon Blum also scored for the Predators, who got three assists from Sergei Kostitsyn. Nashville won despite being outshot 37-22.

Dmitry Kulikov, Mark Cullen and Greg Rallo scored for the Panthers.
