Pietrangelo's power-play goal 1:39 into OT lifts Niagara over Guelph 6-5 @NHLdotcom

ST. CATHARINES, Ont. - Alex Pietrangelo's power-play goal 1:39 into overtime lifted the Niagara IceDogs to a 6-5 victory over the Guelph Storm in Ontario Hockey League action Sunday.

Tyler Melancon had scored Guelph's fifth power-play goal of the game with 53 seconds left in the third period to force overtime.

Chris DeSousa, Matt Maione, with his first career OHL goal, Matthew Swift and Barry Sanderson also scored for Niagara (8-2-0-0).

Luke Pither scored twice for Guelph (4-4-1-0) while Jamie Arniel and Brandon Pither added goals.
