Penguins recall Kennedy from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton @NHLdotcom

PITTSBURGH (AP) -The Pittsburgh Penguins recalled forward Tyler Kennedy from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the AHL on Thursday.

Kennedy has eight goals and four assists in 31 games during two separate stints with the Penguins this season, and is tied for the lead among NHL rookies with four game-winning goals.

Kennedy was reassigned to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on Feb. 8 after missing eight games with mononucleosis. He also missed the YoungStars Game during the NHL's All-Star Weekend in Atlanta due to the illness.
