Pavelka earns first OHL shutout as the Spitfires beat the Storm 5-0 @NHLdotcom

GUELPH, Ont. - Jaroslav Pavelka made 22 saves, earning his first Ontario Hockey League shutout, as his Windsor Spitfires defeated the host Guelph Storm 5-0 on Friday in OHL action.

Kerby Rychel scored twice for the Spitfires (19-20-4), Zack MacQueen had a goal and an assist and Jeff Braithwaite and Alexander Khokhlachev added a goal each.

Storm (16-18-5) goalie Garret Sparks made 16 saves in a losing effort.

Windsor went 3 for 9 on the power play while Guelph failed to score on five opportunities with the man advantage.
