Ottawa 67's forward Tyler Toffoli named Canadian Hockey League player of week

TORONTO - Ottawa 67's forward Tyler Toffoli was named Canadian Hockey League player of the week Wednesday.

Toffoli recorded eight points (four goals, four assists) and had a plus-2 rating in three games last week.

Ryan Howse of the Chilliwack Bruins and Nicolas Deschamps of the Chicoutimi Sagueneens were also considered.

Robin Lehner of the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds was named CHL goaltender of the week.

Lehner earned three victories last week. He had two shutouts, a .974 save percentage and goals-against average of 0.67.

Nathan Dunnett of the Baie-Comeau Drakkar and James Reid of the Spokane Chiefs were runners-up.
