A quality first period was all the London Knights needed to defeat the Erie Otters 4-3 Saturday in Ontario Hockey League action.

Greg McKegg scored two goals for the Otters (3-13-0) and Brandon Connor had a single.

Knights goaltender Michael Houser made 31 saves for the win, while at the other end Ramis Sadikov stopped 33 shots.

London was held scoreless on the power play, going 0-for-4, as Erie scored twice on six opportunities.

The Knights are currently in first place in the league with 31 points, followed by the Sarnia Sting with 28.
