OHL Roundup: A look at Saturday's games @NHLdotcom

London goaltender Jake Patterson's first Ontario Hockey League start was such a success, he even figured into the Knight's offence.

Patterson stopped 29 shots, including a penalty shot, and added an assist as the Knights beat the Guelph Storm 5-1 Saturday.

Patterson's previous regular-season OHL experience was a four-minute stint on Oct. 1 when starter Michael Houser had to leave his crease due to a broken skate.

It didn't show Saturday, as Patterson stopped Guelph's Cody McNaughton on a penalty shot with just under six minutes left in game.

Patterson?s goals-against average is now 0.93.

Houser received the night off as London is playing its first three-straight-day schedule of the campaign ? next at Sarnia on Sunday afternoon.

Elsewhere in the OHL it was: Windsor 4 Erie 2; Belleville 3 Brampton 2 (SO); Ottawa 5 Oshawa 4 (SO); Sarnia 5 Plymouth 4 (OT); Sudbury 5 Kingston 3; Saginaw 6 Niagara 4; Kitchener 5 Owen Sound 3; and Barrie 5 Sault Ste. Marie 4.
