Nishi earns first OHL shutout as the 67's defeat the Petes 2-0 @NHL

OTTAWA - Shane Prince broke a goal-less tie with just over seven minutes remaining in regulation time to lift the Ottawa 67's to a 2-0 victory over the Peterborough Petes on Friday in Ontario Hockey League action.

Dalton Smith scored into an empty net for the 67's (22-9-5), who have now won four in a row and earned points in six straight games..

Michael Nishi made 25 saves to earn his first OHL shutout.

Petes (16-14-6) goalie Mike Morrison stopped 42 of 43 shots, picking up the games first star in a losing effort.

Neither team could score on the power play as Ottawa went 0-for-5 and Peterborough 0-for-3.
