Nigro nets a pair of goals to lead Guelph to 5-1 win over Erie @NHLdotcom

GUELPH, Ont. - Anthony Nigro scored twice and Thomas McCollum turned aside 34 shots to lead the Guelph Storm to a 5-1 win over the Erie Otters on Friday night in the Ontario Hockey League.

Peter Holland and Taylor Beck each had a goal and an assist for the Storm (2-0-0-0), while Cody McNaughton, Tyler Melancon and Tyler Carroll chipped in with two assists apiece.

Frank Grzeszczak spoiled McCollum's shutout bid with a power-play goal 5:51 into the third period, providing the lone offence for the Otters (1-2-0-0).

Jaroslav Janus made 25 saves in defeat for Erie.
