ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) -Two days before Taylor Hall and Tyler Seguin learn who will be the top pick in the NHL draft, they're taking a few swings in the batting cage at Angel Stadium.
Hall and Seguin are the top two prospects in the draft, which will be held Friday and Saturday in Los Angeles.
The talented teenage forwards kicked off the week of draft festivities Wednesday with a tour of Hollywood, a meal at California landmark In-N-Out Burger, and batting practice before the Angels' game against the Dodgers.
They were joined by defenseman Cam Fowler, Seguin's teammate with the OHL's Windsor Spitfires, and forwards Brett Connolly and Emerson Etam, a Long Beach native. All five players are expected to be chosen in the first round Friday night.
