NHL Network presents: Game 2 2011 ECSF: Bruins vs. Flyers

NHL.com @NHL
All summer long, NHL Network will be replaying the 2011 Stanley Cup Playoffs -- from every jaw-dropping goal to every highlight-reel save to every crushing defeat.

Each game of the postseason -- spanning the more than two-month period from the opening round to Boston's Game 7 clincher of the Stanley Cup Final -- will be shown on the Network throughout the offseason.

Fans can tune in at 8 p.m. ET nightly for a different game -- and different chance to re-live history. A complete program schedule can be found on NHLNetwork.com.

For the second consecutive game, David Krejci provided the offensive heroics against Philadelphia. But it wouldn’t have been possible without the otherworldly goaltending of Tim Thomas. Krejci scored the OT winner 14 minutes into the extra period and Thomas stopped 52 Flyers shots as the Bruins won two games on the road to take a 2-0 series lead.

After losing convincingly to the Bruins in Game 1, the Flyers stormed out to an early lead on James van Riemsdyk’s goal just 29 seconds into the game. The young forward got his second of the game later in the period and Philadelphia appeared on its way to tying the series. But two Boston goals 1:25 apart tied the game before the end of the opening period and Thomas took over from there, stopping 32 shots in the third period and overtime to give the Bruins a chance to win.
