NHL Network-Canada to air 'Canes-Caps @NHLdotcom
The Washington Capitals snapped out of a three-game funk on Wednesday with a victory at Carolina. Four days and a 6-0 win against Tampa Bay later, they'll try for a three-game winning streak when the Hurricanes come to the Verizon Center for one of three games on Sunday's NHL schedule.

Fans in Canada will be able to tune in to the NHL Network for the 5 p.m. ET faceoff. The Hurricanes will be trying to follow up on their 3-0 victory at Boston on Friday.

Both of Sunday's other games also start at 5 p.m. ET. Boston tries to bounce back when it visits Atlanta, where the Thrashers will be trying for their fifth consecutive victory. Detroit hosts the Blue Jackets in the back end of a home-and-home series; the Wings won 2-1 at Columbus on Friday night, ending the Jackets' five-game winning streak.
