PHILADELPHIA (AP) -Steven Stamkos had his second hat trick of the season and added two assists, and the Tampa Bay Lightning overcame a two-goal deficit to beat the Philadelphia Flyers 8-7 on Thursday night.
The 20-year-old Stamkos leads the NHL with 19 goals and 35 points.
Nate Thompson scored the tiebreaking goal at 5:19 of the third period, flicking a rebound off Dana Tyell's shot past backup goalie Brian Boucher to complete the scoring.
Philadelphia, whose 10-game points streak ended Tuesday night in Montreal, lost its second straight and also snapped a seven-game home winning streak.
Adam Hall, Ryan Malone, Brett Clark and Steve Downie also scored for Tampa Bay, and Martin St. Louis had five assists. Nikolay Zherdev scored twice for Philadelphia, and Andreas Nodl, Jeff Carter, Scott Hartnell, Danny Briere and Andrej Meszaros also scored.
BOSTON (AP) - Milan Lucic scored Boston's first three goals, and Tuukka Rask made 41 saves for his first victory of the season after opening 0-4-1.
Lucic scored late in the first period, then added two goals in a 15-second span late in the third for his second career hat trick. He has 10 goals this season.
Shawn Thornton also scored.
MONTREAL (AP) - Pekka Rinne made 30 saves for his second shutout, Marcel Goc scored twice and Nashville ended Montreal's winning streak at four games.
Rinne got his 16th career shutout, blanking Montreal for the second time in just over a year.
Cal O'Reilly also scored.
TORONTO (AP) - Jonas Gustavsson made 29 saves, and Mikhail Grabovski, Phil Kessel and Kris Versteeg scored to help Toronto improve to 7-8-2 with its second straight victory after an eight-game winless streak,
Dainius Zubrus scored for New Jersey. The struggling Devils are 5-12-2.
