LOS ANGELES (AP) -Jarome Iginla scored a goal in each period to lead the Calgary Flames to a 5-2 victory over the Los Angeles Kings on Saturday.
Iginla completed his first hat trick of the season, and ninth of his career, with a shot from the right circle that got past goalie Jonathan Quick with 4:07 left in the game. It was Iginla's 11th goal in his last nine games.
The Calgary captain scored the Flames' first goal just 13 seconds after the opening faceoff. He tied it at 2 during a 5-on-3 power play 6:51 into the second.
Iginla was in the penalty box when Daymond Langkow scored a key short-handed goal for Calgary to break a 2-2 tie early in the third period.
David Moss also scored for the Flames and Miikka Kiprusoff made 23 saves.
Drew Doughty and Alexander Frolov scored for the Kings.
MONTREAL (AP) - Pavel Datsyuk and Henrik Zetterberg scored on Detroit's first two shootout attempts to lift the Red Wings past Montreal.
Brad Stuart and Datsyuk scored power-play goals 2:01 apart in the first period for Detroit, coming off a shootout loss to Florida on Friday night.
Mike Cammalleri scored twice in the third for Montreal, beaten after regulation for the first time this season.
EDMONTON, Alberta (AP) - Jonathan Toews had two goals and an assist and Chicago beat Edmonton for its sixth straight victory.
Patrick Kane, Kris Versteeg and John Madden also scored to help the Blackhawks improve to 14-5-2. They opened a six-game trip Thursday with a 7-1 win in Calgary.
Sheldon Souray and Dustin Penner scored for Edmonton. The Oilers have now lost five of their last six and eight of 10.
ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) - Dany Heatley scored his NHL-leading 18th goal and set up Joe Thornton's go-ahead tally in the third period for San Jose.
Ryane Clowe also scored, and Evgeni Nabokov made 28 saves to send Anaheim to its 11th loss in 15 games. James Wisniewski and Ryan Whitney scored for Anaheim.
RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) - Tuomo Ruutu and Jussi Jokinen scored second-period goals, and Manny Legace made 20 saves for Carolina.
Chad LaRose added a goal with 4:23 remaining. The Hurricanes have won three of their last four and have points in their last five games.
Martin St. Louis scored for the Lightning, and Mike Smith made 24 saves. Tampa Bay entered the game 4-0-3 in its previous seven.
TORONTO (AP) - Phil Kessel and Niklas Hagman scored shootout goals to give Toronto its first victory in six games - and first in extra time all season.
Hagman also scored in regulation for the Maple Leafs (4-11-6). Alex Ovechkin scored his 16th goal for Washington (13-5-5).
NEW YORK (AP) - Nathan Horton, Jordan Leopold and Steven Reinprecht scored goals and Tomas Vokoun made 32 saves for streaking Florida.
After a slow start, the Panthers are 8-2-1 in their last 11 games. Vinny Prospal and Marian Gaborik scored for New York. The Rangers lost for the fourth time in five games and have dropped three in a row at Madison Square Garden.
ATLANTA (AP) - Defenseman Martin Skoula scored twice, Evgeni Malkin added a goal and Pittsburgh held on for its third victory in eight games.

OTTAWA (AP) - Daniel Alfredsson had two goals and an assist, and Filip Kuba had a goal and three assists in Ottawa's third straight victory.

DALLAS (AP) - Defenseman Stephane Robidas had two goals and two assists, rookie Tom Wandell scored the tiebreaking goal for Dallas midway through the third period.
Mike Ribeiro and rookie Warren Peters also scored, and Brad Richards had four assists for the Stars. Brian Rolston scored twice, and Travis Zajac added a goal for the Devils, 0-2-1 on their three-game trip.
ST. LOUIS (AP) - David Perron scored twice, and Patrik Berglund had his first goal in 13 games for St. Louis.
Eric Brewer also scored, and Chris Mason stopped 23 shots as the Blues won back-to-back games for the first time since beating Detroit in Sweden on Oct. 2-3.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Mike Santorelli and David Legwand scored shootout goals for Nashville, and Pekka Rinne stopped two of Columbus' three shooters in the tiebreaker to earn his fifth consecutive victory.
Jason Arnott, Legwand and Martin Erat scored in regulation for Nashville. R.J. Umberger had two goals, and Anton Stralman also scored for the Blue Jackets.
