NHL 13 Prediction: Pittsburgh Penguins vs. Boston Bruins 7 ET on NHL Network

The Pittsburgh Penguins look to continue their dominance over the Boston Bruins this season, as they attempt to solidify top spot in the Eastern Conference with a win. The teams have met twice so far this season, with Pittsburgh taking both games at home. Can the Bruins change their luck at home against the Penguins and keep their title hopes alive?

Bruins’ Keys to the Game

•Scoring Troubles – The Bruins have only scored 5 goals in their last 3 games and the lack of offensive bite has resulted in three straight loses. The Bruins need to find their scoring tough and quickly.

•Holding the Lead – The Bruins gave up a power-play marker to the Sabres’ Cody Hodsgon late in the third period, before losing to Buffalo in the shootout. If the Bruins aren’t scoring many, they need to close out games with authority.

Penguins’ Keys to the Game

•Secondary Scoring – The absence of Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin for prolonged periods this season has forced other players to step up. Luckily, Pittsburgh’s added depth from the Trade Deadline seems to be paying off as both Iginla and Morrow are hot right now.
