NBC will feature a tripleheader on its family of networks Sunday as part of the celebration of Hockey Weekend Across America.
Sunday is the third and final day of the annual celebration, and marks the 35th anniversary of the 1980 Lake Placid Miracle on Ice.
Coverage begins at 12 p.m. ET with the pre-game show prior to the Philadelphia Flyers hosting the Washington Capitals (12:30 p.m., NBC). The day continues at 3:30 p.m. on NBC in a rematch of the 2013 Stanley Cup Final as the Boston Bruins travel to take on the Chicago Blackhawks.
The third and final game of the day (8 p.m., NBCSN) features the Minnesota Wild against the Dallas Stars.
NBC will also have coverage throughout the day live from Lake Placid where it will air a number of features focusing on the impact of hockey in America, including an interview with Wild defenseman Ryan Suter, a profile of the United States National Development Team, and a conversation with 1980 United States Olympic Team forward Mark Wells.
