Nadeau turns aside 24 shots as Chicoutimi gets past P.E.I. 3-1 @NHLdotcom

CHICOUTIMI, Que. - Bobby Nadeau made 24 saves and Nicolas Deschamps scored the game winner early in the second period as the Chicoutimi Sagueneens beat the P.E.I. Rocket 3-1 Thurday night in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.

Francis Pare's team-leading 26th goal evened the score for the Sagueneens (18-15-1-1), and Jacob Legace iced the victory by scoring an empty-netter with four seconds left in regulation.

Matthew Lachine opened the scoring 1:08 into the game for the Rocket (16-16-1-0), who saw their four-game winning streak come to an end.

P.E.I. netminder Antoine Lafleur stopped 30 shots in defeat.
