Morin has two points as Rangers take 2-1 series lead over Spirit in OHL playoffs @NHLdotcom

KITCHENER, Ont. - Jeremy Morin had a goal and an assist and Brandon Maxwell made 34 saves as the Kitchener Rangers edged the Saginaw Spirit 2-1 in Ontario Hockey League playoff action Monday.

The Rangers took a 2-1 lead in the best-of-seven first-round series. Game 4 is Wednesday in Saginaw, Mich. Gabriel Landeskog also scored for Kitchener.

Tyler Murovich scored for Saginaw. Spirit goaltender Edward Pasquale played well under fire, stopping 44 of 46 shots.
