Moncton forward Marquardt suspended one game for spearing opponent @NHL

BOUCHERVILLE, Que. - Moncton Wildcats forward Matt Marquardt was suspended one game by the QMJHL on Tuesday for spearing an opponent.

The incident happened Sunday during Lewiston's 4-2 victory over the Wildcats.

Marquardt, a 20-year-old draft pick of the Columbus Blue Jackets, will miss Moncton's road game against Acadie-Bathurst on Wednesday night.
