ST. PAUL, Min. - The Minnesota Wild have claimed tough guy Todd Fedoruk off re-entry waivers from the Dallas Stars.

The Stars and Wild will split Fedoruk's US$875,000 salary for the remainder of the season. He's an unrestricted free agent July 1.

Fedoruk, 28, had two assists and 33 penalty minutes in 11 games with the Stars this season. Fedoruk has 17 goals, 50 assists and 818 penalty minutes in 365 career NHL games.

Also Thursday, the Wild recalled goaltender Nolan Schaefer from the AHL's Houston Aeros and reassigned winger Aaron Voros to the Aeros. The club said goalie Josh Harding sustained a head injury in Wednesday's loss to Vancouver and will be re-evaluated Friday.
