Michael Houser stops 42 shots as London beats Windsor 4-2

LONDON, Ont. - Michael Houser made 42 saves as the London Knights sent the defending Memorial Cup champion Windsor Spitfires to their second straight defeat Friday, a 4-2 loss in Ontario Hockey League action.

Garett Hunter scored what turned out to be the winner 29 seconds into the third to put London up 3-1.

Greg Nemisz's second of the night just over a minute later pulled Windsor back to within a goal at 3-2.

But Dominic DeSando restored the two-goal cushion at 6:08 to round out the scoring on a 4-2 final.

Daniel Erlich opened the scoring at 1:15 of the first for London, before Nemisz knotted the game 1-1 just over five minutes later.

Phil Varone gave the Knights the lead again before the period was out, converting on a power play for a 2-1 lead after one.

Windsor peppered Houser's goal, outshooting London 44-19 on the night.

Josh Unice allowed three of the Knights' four goals in taking the loss.
