Metropolit out for rest of regular season @NHLdotcom

MONTREAL (AP) -Montreal Canadiens center Glen Metropolit will miss at least the rest of the regular season because of a shoulder injury.

He was hurt during a 4-2 loss to New Jersey on Saturday night. Coach Jacques Martin said Tuesday that Metropolit will have more tests this week to determine the extent of the injury,

Metropolit will be an unrestricted free agent on July 1. He has a career-high 16 goals and 13 assists in 69 games this season. He leads the team with 10 power-play goals.
